Kal-Haven Bike Trail from Kalamazoo Michigan to South Haven, Michigan
Kal-Haven Bike Trail Michigan
The Kal Haven Trail  runs 34 miles between
Kalamazoo, Michigan and South Haven, Michigan along the former route of the Kalamazoo and South Haven Railroad.

The Kal-Haven Trail  traverses wooded areas, farmland and small towns and is primarily used by bicyclists in the summer, and by snowmobilers in the winter. The trail is fine gravel surfaced, and some parts are blacktopped.

Over the 4th of July weekend we rode the Kal-Haven bike trail starting from the town of Gobles, Michigan to South Haven, Michigan. The Kal-Haven bike trail is an easy ride and the trail itself is well maintained.

The Kal-Haven Trail ends in South Haven, Michigan at the Kal-Haven Trail State Park. From Kal-Haven Trail State Park it's a short 6 block bike ride into the town of South Haven.

South Haven Michigan Beach
During our bike ride along the Kal-Haven bike trail starting from Gobals, Michigan we were joined by a lot of other bicyclist making their way to South Haven, Michigan to enjoy the sandy Lake Michigan beaches.

Another great attraction is The South Haven Blueberry Festival that's held in South Haven, Michigan every year in August.
